I don't think so. I try to crank #4739 about every weekend or so, and the idle settles in right away. I've been doing this ever since the valve job we had done back in March of this year. Lately, it takes about 5 minutes after a cold start before my D warms up to 180 degrees and then the idle lowers itself to about 800-900 rpm. I don't recall this ever happening to me in years past.
