Since you said "if it just won't stay fully in park" I am guessing your car is an automatic. Assuming that and that you say you can't get it "fully" into park you probably have to clean, adjust, lubricate the shifter linkage. Try starting it in Neutral next time and jiggling it till you get it to start. Have the battery fully recharged too. I stopped it for just a few minutes to get gas, and it wouldn't start again. I don't think the battery is dead because the lights are on. It doesn't make any starting sounds at all. I'm almost wondering if it just won't stay fully in park and can't be started because of that, or if there is an issue with the starter itself or something else. > > Thoughts on a) what this could be, b) what to do about it seeing it is a holiday and I can't get it fixed until Tuesday. > > Any help is much appreciated. > > Lauren > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
