Craig - Yes, the clutch system uses DOT 4 brake fluid. Both the clutch and brake systems should be completely flushed every two years to prevent corrosion and other nasty business. We have an excellent solution for eliminating the exhaust crossover pipe. One of the benefits is an extra 15 - 20 HP when tuned properly. I just did some dyno pulls on my car to prove it. I added 18.5 HP to Winged1. I assume they would not have chosen to use two different fluid ratings for those two systems, but I hate to assume anything so I'm asking. I should drain/refill my clutch system (having never done it before) and want to be sure I'm on the right track. The heat from the crossover pipe (something I long to rid the car of as soon as possible) must degrade the quality of that fluid, over the years/miles. > > Thanx for your help and continue to Drive Stainless! > > Craig Werner > 07181 > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
