Check that you have power and ground in the plug at the fuel pump. Pull the cover boot and see if the wires are nice and clean or all corroded on the pump. Tapped the inertia switch back in place, turned the key to "run", listened as the ubiquitous hum & relay-clicking stopped, flicked the key, and "vroom".... for about 2 seconds. Then nothing but spin. Got it to run about 15-20 seconds when I "primed" it, but would not keep going. Pulled an injector, tried starting again and no squirting fuel. Popped the engine-side line off accumulator, spun with same results. Pulled the center line off the fuel pump, spun, again, no squirting fuel. Hmmm. Do fuel pumps spontaneously die like that? This is my 2nd, in use (well, not much) for ~18 yrs. Am I missing something, or is it time for a new pump?
