If the filer is good then I would go ahead and use it and then when your ready to re-buy then go to the Bosch. After reading what you said I believe I'm best off to stick with what I have been using right along--Valvoline 20-50. I have had no problems with it. As for the filter, the guy I bought the car from had a few brand new ones that he gave me and I still have one left. It's a Valvoline VO-15. Should I toss it and get a 72150 Bosch?
