Could happen, with cut front springs (depending upon the cut) especially with Monster Potholes such as in the Chicago area. Could happen, Grady Front springs, much tighter coil spacing. Probably would not happen with stock front springs installed. Still not a great idea, for any case or as a recommendation. Anything can be done, but it does not mean it should be done. --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "content22207" <brobertson@...> wrote: > > Can't happen -- the tire will hit the top of the wheel well before the spring ever gets even remotely close to 1/4" compression between the coils. > > Bill Robertson > #5939 > > >--- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Farrar Hudkins <fhudkins@> wrote: > > > > If the front spring ever compresses enough to damage the cable shroud, > > you've got bigger problems than a busted speedo! :-O > > > > Farrar Hudkins > > #2613 > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
