1. You can't. Having the torsion bar in changes the "shape" of the door. 2. My favorite trick is to align the door with the striker pins out such that the door fits in the hole. Then put the pins in and align them to the door. This takes longer than it sounds like it should. Some doors just are not straight and will never align. Especially if the skin is shifting on the frame. --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "Joe" <skateboarderx24@...> wrote: > > A few questions now. > > 1) How will I know when the door is aligned with the torsion bar out? > 2) What is the best way of aligning the door without sending it to DMC > to have it done. > > > I would really like to get this door aligned so I can proceed in other > areas, I really don't like having the door held open by a 2x4. > > Thanks > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
