Farrar, Have you tried adjusting the louvers? You can move them closer to the roof, if you have room. Just make sure they do not get scraped by the t panel! Andy Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless handheld -----Original Message----- From: Farrar <fhudkins@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 20 May 2008 10:24:53 To:dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [DML] flapping louvres Gang, My louvres are in the habit of coming undone when I go over a sufficiently large dip in the road, or when the car comes down from a bump. I have moved the little wire bracket as far back as it will go in an effort to alleviate the problem, but I can't tighten the nuts tight enough to get it to stay there. I have also increased the thickness of the wire by wrapping some tape around it. That hasn't worked, either. Besides which, the clasp seems not to want to grip it tightly enough anyway. Any suggestions?
