[DML] UPDATE TO THE UPDATE OF A COUPLE STRANGE QUESTIONS

Group,

Okay, either I'm the unluckiest guy I know, or Josh's
car just plain hates me. For the second time, I have
run across something I have never seen or read about
before. But, the frequency valve is now working!! :-)

After many hours of trouble shooting and pouring over
the wiring diagram, I finally figured it out. It was
the RPM relay. I ordered a new one, but decided to
open up the old one, just to look inside. What I
found was a first. The little coil inside had broken
loose from the contacts on the circuit board and was
moving just enough to 'not' make contact when the coil
closed. Hence, no Lambda and hence no FV. I
re-soldered the connections and it is now working 4.0.

Now, here's my new question. The relay was actually
designed to mount upside down in the relay
compartment, causing the little coil to put all its
weight on those two soldered connections. (the circuit
board only fits one way into the plastic case) When I
reinstalled it, I mounted it so it was right side
up---does anyone see a problem with doing it this way?
(Elvis, I'm counting on you to have the answer)
