I bought a reinforcement bar/bracket from Rob Grady to fix my cracked engine cover (cracked fiberglass near the edge closest to the back window - making the cover not open as much when propping up), but not sure what to use to adhere it to the underside of the cover. Do I use epoxy? I also need to know what type and finish of black paint to use to refinish the engine cover. Does it need to be special heat resistant, or is it ordinary black semi-gloss? Perhaps someone, or Rob if he's online (of course I can call Rob also, but not easy from work at times).
