Funny, I thought of this earlier today and wanted to post it for Lauren and everybody else.  1063 has been running one of these for over 9 years, and I attribute my ridiculous battery longevity to it.  It automatically monitors your battery voltage, and when it senses a drain for too long, it shuts the battery off.  
 
What's nice is that is also protects you against leaving your lights on, doors open, etc. etc.  It will always leave you enough juice to start the car.  If it trips, you just hit reset and fire that mother up.
 
For 50 bucks, it's less than a battery will cost you, and super easy to install.

Well, since Lauren seems to be a pretty popular girl these days, I thought
it would be best to update her "Member" section of the DMA scrapbook. I
did a photo shoot with Lauren last year for one of the Delorean Magazines
who did a similar write-up on her and her life in NYC with the car.
