Tom, Does that mean that you're operating the locks ‘manually’ (i.e. as if there were no power to the battery)? I kill the battery when I let the car sit for days on end or when I work on the car as a safety precaution, and the locks operate with the key from outside and with the switch from the inside. I believe Bill Robertson has disconnected the door lock module and not replaced it and operates his door locks the same way. (Apologies if I got this wrong, Bill.) BTW, congrats on recruiting your young mechanic early on. From playing around on the floor to working upside-down on the creeper should not be a big change, eh? ;) Farrar Hudkins #2613 To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
