My DeLorean is approaching 100,000 miles and the majority of those miles have been gained from cross country trips. I've owned over 60 cars to date, several in the sports car category, even a Bricklin. I have to say that the DeLorean is one of the most comfortable cross country cruisers I've had. I had opportunities to drive Panteras years back while working for Ford and they aren't the most comfortable car. The front wheel housings intrude into the foot wells and as a result the pedals are offset from the driver's seat towards the center of the car as is the steering wheel. You get used to it but I'll take the DeLorean for long road trips. I totally agree with Dick Ryan in that I know my car has been maintained and will be a reliable ride. I'll take it over any trailer queen or museum piece. Bruce Benson > 3d.
