Just took a look at the eBay listing. Seems to be a careful installation. Unfortunately I can't tell what kind of carburetor is under the air cleaner. Accelerator pump looks like a motorcraft, but they usually don't give any trouble (I just purchased an old school bus for my church. Came with a %#*!ing Holley carb. Wouldn't run worth beans. Threw a used motorcraft 2100 on it and performance smoothed out instantly). If the engine has a Holley, there's the cut-off problem in a nutshell. The only reason to run a Holley on a car is because the owner is too cheap to buy a bullet to put through the radiator. You'll notice he's running low voltage ignition (coil look's like generic 12V). That's another problem in a nutshell. Plug wires look like Accel -- not the best IMHO. Intake manifold seems to have some beefy runners. May be single plane. If so, I'd throw a dual plane Edelbrock on it. Single plane manifolds aren't really usable for street driving. For some reason the charcoal canister still has a line running to it. That needs to be jetisoned. Drivability issue could be excessive weight imbalance. The fellow who threw a 350 in his DeLo had to ballast out the front end. Stock 302 weighs about 130 lbs more than a PRV. If I weren't unemployed I'd consider buying the car myself, with the 302 in place.
