Hey All, I recently watched the great BBC Documentary about the development of our favorite piece of automotive history, and the amazing man behind it, and was truly amazed at what strongly apposing views exist about the car. It especially touched me how highly the Irish factory employees continue to speak of our 'knight in stainless steel armor.' Does a DMC fan good. Check it out. Anyway, the documentary got me thinking... At the time that Bob Z. and Bob G. were developing the first Back to the Future film, from whom did they need to get clearance, or pay royalties, in order to use the DeLorean as a time machine. The company was basically gone, save for the few dedicated workers who continued to build cars because it was a passion. Perhaps the holdings company? What about Parts 2 & 3 of the trilogy? Thanks for any feedback you can offer. Geren Piltz Santa Barbara, CA gpiltz@xxxxxxxxxxx P.S. Anyone passing through Santa Barbara, Ventura, or San Luis Obispo, let's meet up! More so-cal events!
