the timing-chip was only once the problem of the five rpm-relays I fixed so far. on two or three the relay itself got unsoldered due to the permamnent force on it - just resoldered it - done. one or twice als the relay driving transistor failed. normaly it is very easy to fix, so never throw away a broken unit... When turning the key to the second position you would normally hear the fuel pump but silence was in its place. I disconnected the plug from the relay and connected the white/purple part of the socket to a spare pin near the locking module that would run the furel pump contiunously. I have since replaced the timing microchip within the RPM relay which has cured the problem. The chip can be found here http://tinyurl.com/24oftv and probably available at your local radio shack. > > Kind regards, > > Chris Hawes > vin 5255 > To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
