Hello everyone, I just wanted to give everyone an update and provide some good news. After spending a few hours with a multi-meter and test leads today, I discovered that the culprit was the main relay located on the firewall of the engine compartment. I wish I could say it was my expert electrical know-how, however it was actually just a lucky guess along with the process of elimination provided by the members of the DML. >From what I understand this particular relay doesn't often fail, but I suppose anything is possible. Thank you to everyone for their insight; I used your suggestions in the process of troubleshooting this problem down. I guess after 25+ years you can't expect a relay to perform as well as it did when it left the factory. Furthermore, my next purchase will be an RPM relay, because I'm sure that mine is on borrowed time anyways.
