there are compatibility issues between led lamps inthe dome lights and the white delay module.  If you are using LEDs try just removing the white module.

I'm almost done restoring 6597. I've run into a weird issue with the 
interior lights. They won't turn off! The switches are good. I've even 
tried swapping the white lamp delay relay. No dice. Anyone ever seen 
this before?
