I find myself in a similar situation ... I'm not very mechanically inclined, and my alternator is going. I figured this might be a good opportunity to learn some new skills, so I bought a new one (and I just received it in the mail). Installation seems pretty straight forward, but does anyone have any tips that they'd like to share? - Geoff --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "funkstuf" <funkstuf@...> wrote: > > Is this for real? > It must not take 45 minutes to change an alternator on a Delorean. > I put one on both of mine this past Spring in about an hour and a > half with new belts and all.
