If Tony would have made a questionable statement about what he did to Proto1, you bet I would ask for clarification and detail. In my previous post, I did state that it was his property to do what his wanted with it. However, that does not mean I am not free to question him about it. He is also not obligated to answer, and sometimes silence on a subject says a lot. We have had members on this list (claim) to drop their car from a helicopter! If I remember correctly, there were plenty of people who had something to say about that. People have called me irresponsible for DRIVING 1860 with it's very rare Legend Twin Turbo engine. I don't think it is unreasonable to get some detail on what was done to the engine in 502 while Tony was "reverse engineering" it. I am the "champion of Legend"? News to me. Learning about and having respect for DeLorean history is my motivation. Even so far as to run 1860 with only 8 Lbs of boost as to not damage this piece of history. It would have been much easier for me to crank the boost up to 18 Lbs and have a fast DeLorean instead of spending 400+ hours installing a VQ35 in to 6068. --- Jack Stiefel <jack@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Not to try and cause an issue Marc, but I would only > imagine it was any of your business if you had > bought the car yourself.
