This was one of the first things I repaired on #10715. I just went ahead and bought a new switch, as well as the little harness that plugs into the trans there. Bingo, problem solved, minimal expense. :) I highly recommend replacing that if it's 25+ yrs old! Also, I found scrubbing off my terminals with a wire/brass brush helps a great deal too. (This goes for pretty much anything around there under the car, in the engine bay, etc. such as the alternator contacts.) My only problem is my actual lenses are faded and slightly cracked with age. -John Weston, MO To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
