One correct answer is "none." :) To me, there is a difference between "fuel" and "usable fuel." The rare appearance of the yellow light in my car is usually accompanied by some bucking of the engine on acceleration or in hard turns. A refill at the first sign of yellow seems to take about 10.5 gallons in my car, well under the total capacity of the tank but at the limit of how low I can go and still drive comfortably and safely for me and the car. This amount seems consistent with what others have reported. If you ever took the fuel sender unit apart and saw the wires attached to the floating switch for the yellow light, you probably wouldn't count on it... If, as your name suggests, you're here in Vegas, drop me an email. There are a few D's here in town.
