Jon, Luckily the whole pump system can be removed w/o dropping the tank! Just drain the tank, remove the fuel pump, and disassemble the pick-up bottom and retaining wires while it is still in the tank. The yellow pan-shaped part is flexible and can be flexed as it is removed from the tank. When reassembling, be sure to avoid kinking the pick-up line (it can easily be twisted while putting the pump back in). Andy In a message dated 4/18/2007 4:39:19 P.M.
