Hi, When I bought mine in Mich. they took 7 weeks to send title. They claimed the Delorean car name wasn't on their computor and had to look it up manually by hand. (because they make us report them as personal property) in person to the local tax/assessor lady. Ironically, the county *still* sent me a "second notice" even though I had turned the form in, -on time- -in PERSON. I even double checked my VIN. I guess they don't know what a DeLorean is on paper. pause for LMAO@the competent/accurate filing of our elected officials. I think when I lived in MI, the state secretary just kind of stared at my title for a minute or so, and I had to tell her, "Just put down Volvo, 2 door coupe, V-6. It's similar to that." :) But I guess that's what we get for having semi-exotic, spiffy cars like our DeLoreans. Gotta love it. -John #10715 --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Check outnew cars at Yahoo! Autos.
