Hi All, Using the wrong kind of coolant may ruin your engine. I recall an incident with my Citroen CX 2200 back in the late 70's. Aluminum parts of the cooling system were totally eaten by aggressive coolant. Aluminum is also very sensitive when water is used. Since there is a lot of aluminum in the D's cooling system, I only use the correct type of coolant, no water! Welmoed. Vita contin git. Vive com eo. You pay a little for the convenience, but not double.
