I agree here, and unfortunately speak from personal experience: my linkage bolt broke! >_< (Thankfully this was on a nice country road, with no other cars involved. So I coasted slowly to a stop.)I have since replaced it with a good, heavy-duty aftermarket one. Also, one of my flaws is I tend to "ride the clutch" a lot in heavy traffic where there's not a full and complete stop, instead of shifting into neutral and just rolling around. So sometimes I run a little low on DOT4 fluid. But that's only in rare cases. One mechanic actually installed my linkage crookedly and I couldn't even shift out of reverse. Having learned my lesson with much humility, I now stick with the advice of the kind DeLorean gurus around my neighborhood and on the net. :) -John #10715 Missouri, north of KC --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "David Teitelbaum" <jtrealty@...> wrote: > > It will probably take cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting the > linkage.
