Sounds like most DeLoreans I've seen for sale. People lock them away in garages and they rot. Sure, they may look new, but every part is 26 years old and if you start actually using the thing as a car, it begins to fall apart. Everyone thinks they want a "new" DeLorean with little to no miles on it; with a select few exceptions, I think it's a terrible idea unless you, too, intend to keep it as a museum piece or want to replace virtually every mechanical part on the car so you can drive it. This is precisely why I bought a "Sunday driver" DeLorean with 43k miles on the clock: I wanted one that had actually been used from time to time as I intended to use it constantly. It took me two years to find this car and I still put nearly ten grand into it over what I paid to make it a solid, reliable daily driver. -Ryan To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
