FWIW - the liners from a 3.0 Eagle engine will NOT fit into a 2.8 Delorean block, even with machine work. Been there, tried that and it doesn't work. The engine blocks may look the same, but they are different enough that some parts cannot be made to swap over. If it has 3.0 liners and pistons in it then it must be a 3.0 block also, and from the outside you can't tell the difference. I guess I need to finish up my 3.0 Odd Fire PRV w/ Eagle heads and K-Jet so we have one more variation to throw into this mix to see how it performs. Now, what happens if the liners are also from a 3.0 PRV (the pistons and liners are from an Eagle Premiere). Of course, all of this knowledge is useless until I've had the car for a while and saved up enough energy (and guts) to do more work to the car... but hey, I can't resist the lure of making my future car even more powerful!
