I went through a similar problem as you last year. The accumulator was replaced about 5 years ago by the PO, so I assumed it had to be the fuel pump check valve or pressure regulator O-rings. After replacing both, I still had the issue. Needless to say, I had the accumulator replaced with a brand new unit (not NOS again), so I now expect it to last another 20 years. If you haven't replaced the O-rings, then those are probably the issue. They usually don't last much longer then the accumulator.
