Are you talking about the Lambda ECU ???? The idle ECU ist the black one with the two small white connectors facing towards the engine ! pulling the connectors may help but doesn't need to ! the idle motor stays more or less in the same position where it was when you pull the connectors !!!! A high idle could be the result of a bad temp sensor or loose wire. Elvis & 6548...soon back home... Bad ECU or stuck idle motor Check the big plug on the top of the ECU behind the drivers seat, unplug it and reseat. Switch your ECU with a working one. Stuck idle motor- pull the black connector off the idle motor when the engine is racing, if the idle drops down or dies, thats the problem.
