Thanks ED > You should not need to jam the flywheel if you use an impact wrench on the nut. I have taken the pulley off a few times without ever needing a jam but I did use an impact wrench. FWIW make sure you have the woodruff key in the 12'oclock position when you remove the pulley, you don't want that dropping into the oil pan.
