My car has a similar plastic bottle there: http://tinyurl.com/bs2zz It's a secondary overflow bottle. It was placed there by a previous owner, but I'm not really sure why. I was told owners with turbos often added them, but I don't have a turbo. My engine light is still there, but it was moved vertical to accommodate the bottle. Someday I'd like to have it removed, along with the inop Sears cruise control that was also installed. And yes, I know, I really need to replace the factory header bottle! Dan W.
