Note to all - I have not proven this yet but I used a generous amount of teflon tape when re-installing the TTS - I think this is why I think I'm not getting ground - there may be no metal to metal connection, or only a poor one - due to the tape. The blue/black wire is the one that you are supposed to be grounding, since it works when you do that it is probably your TTS that is at fault.
