Just wondering,Is it possible to do(after cleaning up the mess to spotless)aluminum welding,a "patch" across the WHOLE ribbed area, (lengthwise or widthwise whichever works)in other words to in-case the mess,in a sorta welded "valley pan" to seal the whole thing in.
