They clearly didn't do any R&D in the desert. :)

I had to add a fuel cooler to my car in order to use it as a daily 
driver in the Summer here in Vegas.  

The fans do indeed pull air through the whole 
cooler/condensor/radiator sandwich in the same direction 
as "natural" airflow when the car is moving.
