You probably already know this but the little "goal post" shaped bar that the louver's latch assembly grabs onto when it locks down is also somewhat adjustable. The holes it mounts in are actually slots and by loosening the nuts on the bar you can slide it forward and rearward giving you SOME adjustment. It isn't a lot, but it may be enough for you to get everything working properly together. -Joe Kuchan >From: Wayne Wagner <dmc-2447@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: Re: [DML] Rear Louvers hitting stainless T-Panel >Date: Wed, 10 Aug 2005 13:10:10 -0700 (PDT) > >I found a post when searching for T-Panel Reinforcement earlier this week, >but there is also a tech paper at: >http://www.dmcnews.com/Techsection/tbar.htm, which I think is the same >entry. > >Regards, >Wayne / VIN#2447 >www.AA9DY.com > > [moderator snip] To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
