I had something similar happen to my Crown Vic. It turned out the power wire going to the fuel pump was worn through by the spare tire. It was barely touching and would cut off all fuel. It took 3 garages before "someone" figured it out - fixed with .10 cents of black tape. I am sure others will chime in but check your electrical connections starting with the battery and fuses. Maybe someone has a more systematic approach?
