The ones I've seen are a different brand core - ATE instead of Girling. Whereas the DeLorean Vendors are generally re-plating them (the gold-color cadmium plating), these are painted. Also, at least Grady is rebuilding them with stainless pistons, the rebuilds are undoubtedly the same mild steel as the rusty ones you have on your car. Operationally I've heard no compliments or complaints.
