Use a grinder with 80# sandpaper and put a random, circular pattern on the rotors. If that does not smooth out the surface have a very light cut done and then sand. You may also need to very lightly sand the surface of the pads so everything can wear in again. The rotors were good, just really dirty and had a glaze on them. I didn't get them resurfaced before I put them on thinking that eventually the pads will smooth the rotors out. While driving you can definately hear the rotors giving off a harsh sound. The sound goes away when I brake. How long do you think it will be before the rotors smooth out? > > Erik To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnews Yahoo!
