Thank you all for all the suggestions and advice. I ended up leaving the radiator in place, removed the sway bar and slid the fan shroud down and out. It took several hours and I wish I would have tried to fix it in place, using the method Rob described. I did RTV the clip in place on the front side. The radiator is not the original, it is all metal and there were no studs, everything was held together with nuts and bolts. Given all the work involved, if I have to pull the fan motors out again, I will go ahead and replace the radiator and fan shroud with a new setup. $5 this time, $500 next and it will be well worth it to never have to do it again.
