This method sounds good to me, I'm gonna try it over the weekend.
Fascia is unbolted so I'm just going to remove it, probably be much
easier to work with it off. I didn't want to drill holes in the
plastic, and forgot all about epoxy. But this method seems the easiest
and one that should last. Thanks for all your responses and help
