Check the base timing, the mechanical advance and the vacuum advance to be sure they are all working and close to the specs in the Workshop Manual. You could also have a plugged up fuel filter causing fuel starvation. Since you are not running an O2 sensor I would just jump the WOT micro so it goes rich in open loop. Not great but better than nothing.
