I agree with Dave. Also, you may need to look at the long, brass-colored bolt in the driver's footwell that the pedal mechanism rests on at the top of its travel (difficult to describe, but it's obvious when you see it). That bolt can be adjusted to set the initial depth of your gas pedal, and give you more travel with it. Just make sure when you adjust your cable that pushing the pedal to the floor doesn't over stress the cable, throttle spool, and WOT switch. Naturally, it should just reach the WOT position when you've got the pedal to the metal.
