Andrew, If you can set the conditions of the promotion, go for it. Best thing to insist on is having a wet paved surface for the area where it will be filmed. You mentioned that the tires are due to be replaced, so that should help the spin capabilities. You did not mention if your car was stick or automatic, but I'm guessing it's a 5-speed. It's very easy to get the rear end to come around on a 5-speed car on a wet surface by just using more throttle. I did this all the time on rainy days with my first Delorean at the local mall, in front of the JC Penny back in 1985. This always got a lot of attention, including the mall cops. This can happen while crossing wet railroad tracks too. I agree that you do not want to break things by doing it, but an empty, wet parking lot is a pretty safe for the car.
