<SNIP> What do I do if my throttle arm isn't returning all the way? </SNIP> Louie and list, The throttle PLATE shaft has its own spring. When my throttle PLATE spring got weak, instead of using the throttle SPOOL spring (via the linkage rod) to force the throttle plate closed, I took another full turn on the throttle PLATE spring! This change allowed me to take the slack out of the rest of the linkage. Something that everyone should check is whether or not their "gas" pedal is able to fully open the throttle plates. With a little slack in the cable, and using the throttle linkage to force the throttle plate closed, this isn't always possible. Perhaps your D is more powerful than you think???? Soooo. If the accelerator pedal controls the air flow, why isn't it called an "air" pedal..? :-) Gary IN2TIME
