A girl at a coffee shop I frequent always yells out the drive through window that I have the coolest car ever. She actually gets rather disappointed when I don't drive it through there. I guess my 1969 Volkswagen Beetle doesn't evoke the same emotion. Her friend seemed to know a lot about it, or at least John DeLorean because she was studying him in her college financial class. Unfortunately she said the professor has been teaching them some great misconceptions about what happened with him. In my girlfriend's art class, her instructor came in all excited asking if anyone had seen the DeLorean driving around town. She told him who's it was and he kept bugging her in class with questions. That was enough to make my day. It's kind of hard to be inconspicuous anywhere but it's a good feeling to see people happy over it. Over two years of ownership and I still get excited every time I see it. Not many cars could do that for me. payne #2975 > > > when kids see the Delorean up close, they think it's the > > coolest car ever made. > > The day after I bought my D, I was giving rides to the neighbors.
