My control pressure regulator -is- brand-new. My freq valve is buzzing away happily. Unfortunately, the fuel injection manual I have points to the control pressure regulator for several of the symptoms I have. So, even though it's new, I want to put a fuel pressure gauge on it. I have greatly increased the power through the adjustments I've made so far, and it doesn't stumble or hesitate any more at all, hot or cold, but that doesn't mean I'm doing it right. Like you say, I probably won't really know until I put the gauge on it.
