If it's a new sender you can probably trust it. Check the guage itself by placing the appropraite resutance values for full and empty across the sender wires. John Hervey can tell you what the correct resistance values are. I forgot and seem to have misplaced the scrap of paper I wrote them on. His answer is also in the archives. John you out there?
