I had Geico prior to buying the Delorean. I switched to State Farm 1 month prior to buying it and then added it to my polocy. I got a letter from the underwriter saying that Deloreans are not covered. I called my agent told her what had hapened and she called them right away and stated that there are other polocies with Deloreans and she called the underwriters prior to addingthe Delorean to be sure it would be covered and they said yes. They still sent out a letter to me after the car was added - my agent called them back with the letter and got it taken care of and I am a new owner and have both my station wagon and Delorean on the new polocy. I wish you luck.
