The Johnny Carson car was next to me in Cincinatti at Ken's show in 1998. The owner had a lot of documentation on the car. J C really never owned it, it was taken back as I recall by DMC when the company was in bankrupcy. This was the car that died on Johnny on the drive home from the dealer the day he picked it up. The ducey alternator just couldn't keep up. That car was entered in the councours and it didn't even place. Although it was nice it wasn't cleaned up so it didn't present very well. J C was a large invester in DMC and I guess they though that lending him a car was going to generate a lot of publicity and they were right, just not the kind they were looking for!
